Less Crazy But Hot?! You Have No Idea....
This was what I was listening to on my bike ride home.
Toronto is a funny place. I went to meet an old friend from high school who runs Toronto Craft Alert to help her figure out some Wordpress stuff. We talked about the difference between growing up in Toronto and coming back. The sun was doing it's crazy Toronto June thing. Slightly better then the horrible July thing, still too hot out to be sensibly considered a work day.
After that meeting I went to talk to a nice fellow named Joe Murray about splitting rent on a desk at the Centre for Social Innovation. Basically my room-mate and I would have some office space to share in this incredibly neato building downtown. All sorts of progressive types work at CSI, and there are many communal services available including meeting and presentation rooms. I am pretty pysyched about this for several reasons most to do with learning to have work-life and a home-life.
After that meeting I stopped at a fruitstand and bought 4 delicious yellow mangos, and then home in the deadly Toronto sun.
Toronto is not hell. Even if drunk people insist on riding into me and other unsavory life experiences occur due to my move here. I am not feeling so cursed or so angry anymore
Also this whole CSI thing was Christine's idea first. She is one smart lady...xx bisous.

Oh yeah, and in my spare-time, I am an aspiring stand-up comedian.
- mirverburg: @arvinsingla Yes if you have a wicked arm you could throw a stone from my porch.
- mirverburg: @arvinsingla Don't buy any new clothes for a year, + save the money. Then use the money for something significant and good for you/others.
- mirverburg: RT @kelkord: Finally watched that How to be Alone video that's all over the place this week. Yeah, I dug it. http://youtu.be/k7X7sZzSXYs
- mirverburg: @amandabee Yes, but my gang have taken to "hacking" their own accounts to make a bit of drama. Hard to tell the difference though.
- mirverburg: Uh oh #JimmyPageHead is making a comeback, time to get a haircut mirsy.
- mirverburg: The kids I moderate online seem uncommonly terrified of having their accounts hacked. Why is this?
- mirverburg: @moon_angel I emailed the people at the site and hope they will explain the rules. I am hope altering and making our own clothes is allowed.
- mirverburg: RT @dsearls: "Our math textbooks are three times the size of Asian ones." B. Gates -It's not the size of your textbook, it's how you use it.
- mirverburg: @MissStaceyMay I love that song. Made me almost cry. It sounds like scary things I've felt and don't really want to feel again.
- mirverburg: Listening to Madder Red by Yeasayer. This is pretty much how my whole self feels body and spirit. http://youtu.be/VvsHYRzO8_Q
