I'd rather be a Mushroom than a Shoe
Okay let's get the props out of the way first. I went all the way to Toronto yesterday for one night only to watch Veda Hille play a set in support of her new album "This Riot Life". It was incredible amazing, awesome, out of sight, (eloquence is key there). Fabulous, so much fun, Wow! Also The Fits who I had never seen live opened, and they and their cunning and putschy costumes made lines like "I'd rather be a mushroom than a shoe" really shine.
If you have the opportunity to see a live show that involves VEDA HILLE in any respect go for it. Even if she is just standing off-side holding a sign that says "I am a palm tree", or handing out wet-wipes, just having her in the room brings the arty-party. You will have the time of your life. I swear.
