Arrival in Macau

I can't write for long. This is officially nap time. I just felt like stating that I have arrived, that this is both a good and a bad thing. And that if you want to know what it feels like to travel for 24 hrs than I recommend a stage-coach tour of the wild west over anything that involves economy class on a plane.

What else, the plane was freezing. I watched the new Hairspray which was amazing and which I highly recommend, but only if you like musicals.

I am keeping a very lovely and intimate travel diary in my new moleskin which I have no desire to transcribe though I thought I would. The only thing worth repeating is; "I feel like an ice-cube in a giant airborne ice cube tray filled with screaming babies." That was around hour 10.

Today? I have eaten all sorts of weird food while listening to portions of my brain shut -down slowly but surely from a jet-lag that is trying to convince me that it is really 3:45 in the morning, not the afternoon.

The reason I ran away to take a nap? I couldn't make my power cord fit into any of the adapters which provoked a mammoth tearstorm (luckily in my room). After getting a grip on my emotions I walked downstairs where the tv crew showed me how to cheat a two-prong adapter without having to cut the ground off my Macbooks cable.

So let's call it an afternoon for the un-handy, un-calm, un-chipper me.
