September 4th

Let me clear my throat

I haven't been sleeping very well lately. Last night I was awake until 3:00am not upset or anything, in fact quite fine, just thinking about my Master Plan.

From the bathroom I could hear a cricket or a frog, active in the rainy night, but from my bed all I could hear was the occasional car. Not very soothing, so I just had to wait my own brain out.

I haven't written about my Master Plan in this blog, because I have felt fairly protective of it. Master Plans are like that I guess, unless they are written on tiny microchips and you have to swallow them after you read them. It's not *that* kind of plan. I also don't have an underground lair. (Actually come to think of it, I kind of do, but I use it for refinishing antique furniture, not Master Plan elaboration.)

Anyways, I think I am ready to talk about the MP now, because #1/ I am, as is normal, procrastinating in the completion of the first academic paper I will write towards the MP and #2/ I am totally hyper-excited by ideas and inspirations from a new, though familiar, discipline. Hence the 3am thing.

Here is the MP in a nutshell.

I am going to spend the next 12 years of my life training to be a therapist. My goal is to work with children, teens, and young adults. I will use a combination of talk therapy, media production using video, animation, audio etc.. and (if I can stop sucking so much as a competitor) gaming.

That's it, short and sweet.
