Fuck those people

This comic just made me feel so much better about my life.

I hope in general people see me as the girl hanging outside their window, then I will feel that I have done right by myself and for humanity.

If they don't, then I guess I will have to work a little harder.

You'd think nothing was happening

When there is actually quite a lot going on in my head, and in life.

However, if I try to write the post I want to write this morning I'd be hella late for work. So I'll take notes and maybe I will write it tonight.

Some links:

How to die on Facebook. This is a strange and compelling story. The strangest part is that due to the subject matter, my first response was to do a mental tally of the people I know who have died, and who had Facebook profiles. For a person who lives in a peaceful 1st world nation, it seems like a lot. Maybe I just feel extra weird because Dylan's name came up 2x this week-end and I miss him.

Ladies and Gentleman Mr. Leonard Cohen. Ignore the pomposity of the narrator and occasionally even of Mr. Cohen himself, this is a great little movie.

I am experimenting with Tumblr to collect clips, and quotes that I think are more directly related to my nascent comedy hobby. Design is going to be quite different then here, and I still haven't quite worked out how to deal with the overload of Twitter, Tumblr and this Drupal dinosaur.

So tonight, a post about gender, appetite, weight-lifting, saying yes, and being alone. Wait for it....

15 Minute Mix

in

I had a freak out in my stand up class yesterday. Yep I yelled at a room full of aspiring comedians. I won't go into details it's too ugly.

Here is a continuation of the mix tape on the go. I've been surreptitiously uploading these babies since Monday, do like how that works? Whittling away time theft as opposed to flat out time theft for hours.

Gouge Away - Pixies Live in Paris
Bulletproof - Lou Barlow (La Roux cover)
Phodilus and Tyto - Forest City Lovers
All Things Go - Chiddy Bangs
Chords - Kleerup
With Every Heartbeat - Kleerup (Featuring Robyn)

It is possible I just overstressed the Kleerup but I want to point out that I am literally shoulder dancing at my desk here, so I don't think so.
