It's a Facebook application. Seriously, it's a little path of (fake) grass filled with little anime plant creatures. I have friends who have patches too and when I go to write stuff on their walls I am requested to do things like feed the bunny carrots or rake leaves.

Somehow I doubt this is what people had in mind in 1995 when they were writing about the boundless possibilities of the information super-highway. "You'll be able to feed fake bunnies, and send each other strawberry plants that look like Japanese novelty erasers! It's the future!"
